Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of ThoroughWiz, a website that publishes a daily horse-racing pace card, selections, a podcast, a newsletter, and videos. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
What ThoroughWiz is
ThoroughWiz is an information and entertainment product. Our picks, pace sheets, podcast, and videos are produced by AI in a handicapping lab, and we say so plainly on every surface. Rankings follow the morning line, and our methods are described on the site.
No wagering, no guarantees
- ThoroughWiz does not accept, place, or facilitate wagers, and is not a gambling operator.
- Everything we publish is opinion and analysis for entertainment. Horse racing involves risk; past results — ours included, which we publish in full — do not predict future outcomes. Nothing on the site is a promise or guarantee of any result.
- If you choose to wager, you do so on your own responsibility, through licensed operators where legal, and only if you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
Day passes and payments
- Full-card access is sold as a $5 day pass: a one-time payment for access through the end of that day (America/New York). It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By buying a pass you also agree to Stripe's terms for payment processing.
- Because a day pass is consumed the day it is bought, sales are generally final. If a technical failure on our side prevents access you paid for, contact us and we will make it right, normally with a replacement pass or a refund.
Accounts
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password to yourself; access is for one person and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attack the site, or redistribute member content.
Uploads
If you upload past-performance files to build a personal pace card, you keep ownership of your files. You grant us the limited permission needed to store the file and generate your card. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use. You can delete your uploads from your dashboard.
Our content
The site's text, graphics, pace cards, audio, and video are owned by ThoroughWiz or used with permission. You may share links and brief excerpts with credit. You may not republish full pace cards or other member content, or scrape the site in bulk.
Availability and changes
We publish on a daily schedule but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; race cards depend on third-party data and racing schedules, and cards may change or be withdrawn (for example when races are cancelled). We may update the product and these terms; the current terms always live at this page.
Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, ThoroughWiz is not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or from decisions you make based on its content, including any wagering decisions.
