Privacy Policy
ThoroughWiz publishes a daily horse-racing pace card, a podcast, and a newsletter. Our picks, pace sheets, podcast, and videos are produced by AI. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Member accounts. If you create an account, we store your email address and an account record so you can sign in and use your day pass. Accounts and authentication are handled through Supabase.
- Payments. Day passes are sold through Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly; we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of the purchase (such as the Stripe customer and payment identifiers and the pass date) so we can activate and support your access.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address and your subscription status so we can send the newsletter and honor unsubscribes. Email delivery is handled through Resend.
- Files you upload. If you use the member upload feature, the past-performance PDF you upload is stored so we can build your personal pace card from it, and the generated card is stored in your account. You can delete your uploads from your dashboard.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting providers may log standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to operate and protect the site.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on our pages.
- We do not collect information about children; the site is intended for adults, and horse-racing content may be age-restricted in your jurisdiction.
How we use information
We use the information above only to run the service: signing you in, activating day passes, delivering the newsletter, building cards from files you upload, answering support questions, and keeping the site secure.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors that handle data on our behalf: Supabase (accounts and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (newsletter delivery), and Vercel (website hosting). Each receives only what it needs to provide its service.
Social media
We publish our own videos on social platforms such as TikTok, posted manually by us to our own ThoroughWiz accounts. We do not use automated posting integrations, and we do not collect data about our viewers from those platforms. When you watch or interact with our content there, that platform's own privacy policy governs.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue.
- You can delete uploaded files from your member dashboard.
- To ask what we hold about you, or to request deletion of your account data, contact us at the email below.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted on the site.
